Indoor Garden

Each Spring/Summer, I get the itch to start my own garden.  Because it seems like we are always about to move (this fall will be #9 in six years), it's just never been the right time.  Maybe your issue is more about limited outdoor space than a transient lifestyle, either way I find these images so inspiring to bring the outdoors inside.  Whether it's a couple plants or a wall full of plants, they add so much to a space.   Ps. What do you guys think about this glass bedroom?  Love or hate?

Open Closet

Although we love living in an older home and (all of the character that comes with it), I'm definitely looking forward to/hoping for bigger closets in our next home.  Here are some great options if you also find yourself working with limited closet space (too bad it doesn't fix the general problem of limited space, right?).

Scenes from my Weekend

Time is flying by and I can hardly believe Reese will soon be two weeks old!  It has been such a fun time for us......getting to know Reese's likes/dislikes, walks by the water to our favorite ice cream parlor, and lots of movie watching.  I even squeezed in a little photo shoot with my little girl, trying out a new lense.

House Tour: Nina Bergsten

I know I've seen at least one picture (the living area) floating around pinterest, but I feel this entire home needs to be seen so I couldn't resist sharing.  Nina's Swedish home was featured in Residence Magazine , and between the Scandinavian decor and the beautiful architecture I'm in love.

Bar Cart Love

(Pssst.....I'm over HERE today)

Minus special occasions, I have never been one for wine/mixed drinks.  In the back of my mind I secretly cringe at drinking my calories (alcoholic or nonalcoholic).....I would rather splurge on something sweet.  But during my pregnancy I did crave some Disaronno.  So, Red and I bought some to have on hand as a celebratory cocktail after Reese was born.  That brings me to today's post......I love a good bar cart.  There is something so timeless and hospitable about a bar cart.  Enough Said:

Welcome to the World my Reese

Reese Caroline was born June 13th at 6lbs 13oz.  We could not be more in love with our little lady.  In a word, I feel incredibly blessed......so blessed that God would give us the care of this little angel.

Small Bathrooms, Big Statement

First of all, I'm being featured over at Apartment Therapy today here.....thanks to everyone for all the kind comments.  Whether you've been around for a while, or found RestlessOasis via my recent features in Knock off Decor /Apartment Therapy, I hope you decide to stay a while.  I would love to hear from you!
Secondly, (besides the pending birth of our baby...HA),  wallpapered bathrooms have been on my mind lately.  Specifically- I love a small bathroom with wallpaper.    So often, many of us don't know what to do with a such a small space....and end up not doing anything at all (right?).  I love how these rooms are celebrated and beautiful without being overstyled.  Insert big impact wallpaper.
