Red came home from work last Friday and told me he needed to take me shopping. I don't know if I've ever heard those words from my husband's mouth........and then it became clear he meant cold weather shopping....as in ski masks, heavy duty gloves, and the like. I'm realizing that I'm a bit naive about the cold weather up here. Growing up near DC, I'm used to snow.....just not below zero degree temperatures. So, here's my "warm things list" for this winter.

Sorel Boots. My first official snow boots, so ugly they're almost cute....right?
Fingerless gloves from this shop. Ok, Red makes fun of me for how impractical they are for living up here.......but I'll be wearing them until I can't, and then again next Spring
